Born on September 25, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Joan was the beloved daughter of Michael and Helen Janske. She grew up in Northeast Minneapolis and remained proud of her Polish heritage throughout her life.
Joan was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James Hunter; her parents; her brothers Father Jerry, Leonard, and Firmin; and infant twin siblings.
Her loving family: son David Hunter; daughter Denise Pask & son-in-law David Pask; and cherished grandchildren Alyssa and Lucas Pask.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 835 2nd Avenue NW in New Brighton. Visitation 1 hour prior to service.
