Lots of wonderful memories... Will remember Joann always as a loving and caring wife, mom, grandma, and friend. So generous and thoughtful... She taught me how to make the flakiest pie crust ever as well as the tastiest Pierogi’s when about all I had left for groceries at times was flour, eggs and potatoes! Lol. Many fun (and funny!) conversations with Joann. Lots of laughter through the years for sure. Playing Uno and Yahtzee... omg so many thoughts come streaming to mind. Always a pleasure to see her smiling face. Jack reminisced on how much fun it was to just run around the pond to go visit grandma and grandpa when they lived just across the pond from us.. Grandma would lure Jack and Aliyah over there with her absolutely delicious cookies! Jack, Nicky, Ricky and the girls will miss grandma. She will always be remembered...

Aunt Jo was well-loved by everyone who knew her, and especially by her nearest and dearest. She and Uncle Joe spoiled me rotten after I was born, taking me with them on dates and buying me extravagant clothes (according to her sister, Phyllis, my mom; I was too young to remember). Our families spent a lot of time together as we kids were growing up. One of the best things about Aunt Jo was her generous and infectious laugh -- and her ability to not take herself too seriously. She was fun and loving and will be missed by many. Enjoy heaven with Mom, Aunt Jo! xxoo The photo below was taken during Mom's/Phyllis' 80th birthday party and shows Mom, Aunt Jo and Aunt Marcia.
