She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Adella Schmeckpeper and her sister and brother in law Diane and Wayne Schellenberg.
Joy is survived by her nephew Mike (Gina) Schellenberg; niece Julie (Todd) Eiken; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews: Andrea (Justin) Bonhiver and Samuel Bonhiver, Leah (Andy) Lueck and Connor, Courtney and Cassie Lueck, Chad (Laura) Eiken and Adela Eiken, Sammy (Matt) Waage and Erik Waage and many other family and friends.
Joy spent her career working in insurance. She was worldwide traveler enjoying countless trips across the globe. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.
Memorial service will be Friday, April 21, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
