Joyce Wotschke was a Catholic woman of faith who loved to host and cook for her family on the holidays at the family homestead in Highland Park. Having worked as a nurse’s aide for 27 years at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul, Joyce continued to care for humans and animals as a surgical and veterinary tech. Throughout her life, she was a devoted fur mom for a dog and many cats. At Johanna Shores, Joyce led the residents in saying the rosary every week.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents Rose and Ralph Wotschke, her sisters Dorothy Doroshenko, and Marcy Westergren, and her brother, Leroy Wotschke, and Michael Berglin, and Mark Berglin.
She is survived by her nieces Joan Perrault, Julie Erhart, Beth Englund (Dale Englund), Tasse (Kathryn) Swanson (Lance Swanson), and Artemis Preeshl, and her nephew Martin Berglin (Debra Valentini) and many grandnieces and nephews. The kindness and compassion of Joyce will be remembered with love.
