May 10, 1935 – February 10, 2020
Min Jung Hee, died Monday the 10th of February at her nursing home, Golden Nest in Saint Anthony, Minnesota. She is now with her Father in Heaven.
Born in 1935 in YeonBaek County, Hwanghae province in Korea, during the Japanese Colonial rule. When she was 15, the Korean war started. Everyone but her brother escaped during that migration, who may have been drafted to the North Korean Army.

Jung Hee is remembered for her quirky sense of humor, love for dancing & singing with her friends, and her ability to make the most delicious homemade kimchi and chicken wings. Her favorite hymn at church was ‘Amazing Grace’ and continued to be her favorite song throughout her final months in life.
She is survived by her two daughters, one son, and their respective spouses - Susan Yoo and LK Tan; Lisa Yu and Don Shin; KJ and Hannah You, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, all of whom live in Minnesota, and brought great joy to her life.
