Kathleen “Kay” Anderson, of New Brighton, MN, passed away Thursday, September 25 at the age of 88. Important to her were faith, family, and friends, and she enjoyed nature and spending time at the family cabin in Shotley. She was an elementary school teacher in the Mounds View district for many years. Kay loved music and dancing. She sang many solos and sang in several choirs. For over 40 years, she did choreographed, cued ballroom dancing with her husband.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gladys Linnum; half-brother, Edward Linnum, and twin brother Kenneth Linnum.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Anderson; daughters, Kristin (Philip) Warmanen and Tina (Brook) Kabanuk; son, Brett Anderson as well as her grandchildren Philip and Emma Warmanen; and Tristan and Kostya Kabanuk.
Visitation is Thursday, October 9 at 4:00 pm followed by funeral at 5:00 pm at Salem Covenant Church, 2655 5th St NW, New Brighton.
She will be sorely missed.
