To the Hubbard Family
Sorry to hear of your loss, I tried over the years to  get in touch with Leon who was my Grandfather, would have liked to have met him before he passed away

Thank you to everyone for these very kind words about my Grandpa. He was a very special man- I have always known that and this just reinforces it. One of my favorite memories of Grandpa was when we would visit them in Sun City West, AZ and Grandpa would always dive into the pool, which was a big "no-no" and the pool supervisors would be yelling at him over the microphone to stop- he would keep on jumping in. We always thought that was very funny! We will take good care of Grandma Ilah.

This message is from one of Uncle Leon's many nieces.  I am sorry that I live so far away and could not be there to stand for him at his funeral.  He is remembered by me for his goodness and his quiet generosity to his parents, my grandparents.  I was living with them in the summer of 1966, and remember them telling me about what Uncle Leon had done and was doing for them.  The lesson of that generosity has always stayed with me:  it has made me proud to be a Hubbard and happy when I could go and do likewise.    Love to Aunt Ilah, my cousins Craig and Diane and your families.

Dear Hubbard Family,
I remember fondly the time I worked for Hub Manufacturing. Mr. Hubbard was always so nice and kind. I still have pictures of my sons with the mounted  animals (I called them stuffed and was very promptly and nicely told they were mounted) that he had in his office. I also still use my ice cream scoop stamped with Hub Mfg that was given to me by Mr. Hubbard. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Hubbard family. with deepest sympathy.

It was wonderful getting to know Leon over the last year!  My thoughts and prayers are with you,and all my love to Ilah.

Dear Aunt Ilah & Family,
We are very sad to hear about Uncle Jack's passing. We have many fond memories of family reunions and a special visit this past summer, reminiscing about his very full life!  We'll always remember his kind face & smile!

Dear Hubbard family:
We are saddened to hear of Leon's death.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during  these hard days. 
Our father, Elmer Larsen, worked for him for years. He loved his work at  Hub Manufacturing and he respected your dad and was  honored to work with him.   You dad was such a kind man to our family over the years,  Not only did Dad enjoy his many work years at Hub Mfg. he also loved  the fishing and hunting trips with Leon, Craig and the other guys.
