She was born on January 10, 1949 to Iver and Gertrude Eide in Montevideo, MN. Linda graduated Milan High School in 1967 and went to work at Control Data for 20+ years with a few administrative jobs until her retirement.
Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family, and especially her grandsons, Scott and Steven. She had a passion for her Norwegian heritage and adored her pets. Linda enjoyed socializing with her friends and going out to eat.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Jeff) Valerius; grandsons, Scott and Steven Valerius; siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Linda was preceded in death by, parents and grandparents; sister-in-law, Sharon.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Sunset Kapala Glodek Funeral Home, Minneapolis with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.
Private burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis.
