Lois was born on May 6, 1934 in St. Paul to Christian and Laura Affeldt. She graduated from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and received her degree in nursing. She later moved out to the west coast and lived in Oregon and California for a few years, before returning to Minnesota to care for her parents.
She enjoyed traveling abroad, playing sports, huge dog lover, avid reader, peacemaker of the family and loved Jesus with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Affeldt and sister-in-law, Joan Affeldt.
Lois is survived by her nephew, Christian; nieces, Carol Buckman and Dorothy Cline; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Jehovah Lutheran Church (LCMS), located at 1566 Thomas Ave W #2, Saint Paul, MN, 55104, on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis at 1:30pm.
