Marion Kaminski (Annett), age 94, died peacefully on September 24, 2022. Born and raised in Minneapolis. Preceded in death by her husband Don Kaminski; her parents Barbara and Charles Annett; sisters Catherine Glynn and Deloris Morris; brothers Clifford, Richard and Thomas. Survived by brothers Michael and Leland, step-daughter Susan Groth, and many nieces and nephews. While attending North High School, she worked at Powers Department Store in Minneapolis, then at Munsingwear until it was sold, and then Electric Machinery making coil windings for electric motors. She enjoyed traveling with husband Don, taking trips to the casino, finding treasures at the thrift store, reading mystery novels, crocheting, knitting, and puzzles. She was an avid fan of the Twins, Vikings and Gopher football. Thanks to the Coon Rapids Fire Department who provided Marion with great care and always made her smile. She will be greatly missed by many dear friends and family.
On October 14, 2022 at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo (2739 NE Stinson Blvd., Minneapolis) a visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., a lunch at noon, and internment at 2:00 at Sunset Funeral Home (2250 St. Anthony Boulevard NE, Minneapolis). Memorials in her name can be offered to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
