She is preceded in death by her parents, Algot Chelstrom and Joyce Chelstrom; brother, Warren Chelstrom; and son, Steve Eliason.
Marylyn is survived by children, Elaine (Tim) Lenzen and Diane (Jay) Heine; grandchildren, Corwin Johnson (Anna Taberko) and Jack Johnson; sister, Nancy (Jeff) Cottle; and many extended family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
