of Crosby (formerly of Emily, Buffalo and Minnetonka), passed away 10/22/2013. He loved his family, his country and fishing. After serving in the U.S. Army in WWII, Merv graduated from the U of M with a BS in Chemistry and was a 35 year employee of General Mills. He was preceded in death by his brother, Floyd; and granddaughter, Lauren Hannes. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Helen; sons, Steve (Holly) and Robert; daughters, Cindy (Patrick) Fortune, Debra (Scott) Vogelgesang and Carol (Rodney) Hannes; grandchildren, Ryan (Stacy), Jason (Kim) and Emily Vogelgesang; Michael, Hannah and Abby (Kuba Slosarek) Fortune; Ashley Hannes; and Ava Krueger; great-grandson, Adam Fortune; and sister Elaine (John) Wurdeman.
