Preceded in death by wife, Kathryn and parents, Earl and Dorothy.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Gina (Jon) Chov; son, Kent Cederstrom; grandkids, Camden, Jordan, and Kya; sister, Carol LaMere; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Sunset Kapala Glodek Funeral Home, Minneapolis at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
Richard was a longtime member of the Twin Cities Musicians Union, joining back in 1965. In lieu of flowers, Richard’s family has suggested loved ones make donations in his honor to the Young Musicians Scholarship Fund.
