Robert "Bob" Herron, 82, loving husband, father, grandfather, devout Catholic, and proud Irishman passed away on January 21, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Bob and his wife Marilyn were married for 59 years raising 6 children together. He had a long and successful career with 3M, employed for more than 25 years in both St. Paul, MN and Austin, TX where he was awarded numerous patents over his career. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, and children Teresa (Tom)Frazee, Minneapolis, MN, Dennis Herron, Austin, TX,
Susan (Jeff) Nelson, Stacy, MN, Robert (Cynthia) Herron, Memphis, TN, Margaret (Tim)Johnson, Woodbury, MN, Patrick (Julie) Herron, Austin, TX. Brother Bill Herron (Annette), Tucson, AZ; and nine grandchildren.
