Age 88 of Fridley was released from the grasp of dementia on May 3, 2015.
Robert was a proud WWII Naval Veteran, Pacific Theater 1945. A longtime employee of Superior Plating, NE Minneapolis.
Survived by loving wife of 68 years, Marion; children, Sandra (Richard) Spore, Karen (Jim) Kertzman, Bob (Deb), Dale (Cindy), Ted (Angie) and William (Ty Downey); 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Memorial service 12:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 at SUNSET FUNERAL HOME, 2250 St. Anthony Boulevard NE, Minneapolis with a gathering of family and friends 1 hour prior to service.
Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
