Sharon Lee Jacobson

Sharon Lee Jacobson died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 78 on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Jacobson, father Victor Rions, Mother Alice Rions (Crouch), and daughter-in-law Ann. She is survived by her sister, Vickie Abel, daughters Donna (Mitch) Kiffe, Sandra (Dave) Jacobson, Laura (Scotty) Feinstein, and son Douglas Jacobson; grandchildren Nicole, Geoff, Erik, Joe and Mallory; and four great-grandchildren James, Olivia, Avery, and Paige.

Sharon loved sewing, knitting, being a dance mom through the years, phone calls with her kids and grandkids, reading with her Reading Buddies, and coffee outings with her longtime friends. As an expert seamstress, Sharon crafted hundreds of dance costumes and she spent countless hours volunteering for Bundles of Love and the Continental Ballet Company, and serving on service committees with Transfiguration Lutheran Church and Applewood Pointe of Bloomington. Her selfless, gentle and loving demeanor with her family, friends and strangers alike will be greatly missed. Her friendships were long and lasting, and she gave good counsel with a warm touch.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Sunset Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Boulevard, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM. Private interment at Sunset Cemetery to follow.
