Stacie was born on November 14, 1968 in Minneapolis, MN, the second of five children born to Craig and Beth (Forkenbrock) Lindemyer. She grew up in Northeast Minneapolis, attended Holland Elementary School, and graduated from Edison High School in 1987.
Stacie married Jim Hart in 1992 and they bought a home in Richfield, MN. She was excited to be a mother to sons Derek, born in 1994, and Dylan, born in 1997. Stacie had a great passion for children and opened a licensed daycare in their home. She volunteered regularly at their sons’ school activities. After her children were both in school, she worked in several restaurants in the Richfield and Edina areas.
Stacie enjoyed cooking and entertaining. She gave the best kids’ birthday parties and was a remarkable hostess for family functions. She loved laughing with friends and family. Stacie was known for her humor, as well as her feistiness, and could tell any story with a dramatic flair and wittiness as only Stacie could. There are countless memories of Stacie and her funny antics.
Sometime after Stacie and Jim’s divorce, Stacie developed a long relationship with Paul Jachymowski. Together they enjoyed watching movies, fishing, and spending time in their Mounds View home. Stacie enjoyed gardening each spring and summer, decorating their home, and looked forward to attending the Minnesota State Fair each year.
In 2019, Stacie was diagnosed with tongue cancer and endured five surgeries in a short time, followed by radiation and chemo. The many aftereffects of the radiation took a toll on her body.
Stacie is survived by her son Dylan Hart, soulmate Paul Jachymowski, granddaughter Iris Ann Hart, mother Beth Forkenbrock (special friend Luke Kaushagen), siblings Kelly Miszkiewicz (Chris), Erik Han-Lindemyer (Hok), Nicole Lindemyer (Christopher Michael), Jeff Lindemyer (Ankhi), nieces Emily Miszkiewicz, Mariah Miszkiewicz, Rachel Miszkiewicz, Anjali Lindemyer, and Jaya Lindemyer, and nephews Aiden Han-Lindemyer, Cole Han-Lindemyer, and Blake Han-Lindemyer, and several aunts and uncles including Susan Roemer Nelson (Mark) and Dorie Forkenbrock, as well as several cousins, and good friend Jim Hart.
She was preceded in death by son Derek, father Craig Lindemyer, nephew Ty Han-Lindemyer, uncle David Forkenbrock, grandparents Myrtle and Jack Forkenbrock, and grandparents Norma and Charles Lindemyer.
A funeral service for Stacie will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM, with a visitation one hour prior, at Sunset Kapala Glodek Funeral Home, 2250 St Anthony Boulevard NE, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55418, followed by interment at Sunset Cemetery.
