She was born in Minneapolis on January 21, 1943. Sue Anne graduated from Southwest High School and the University of Minnesota. After graduation Sue Anne was a teacher, but soon changed her career path to retail. Sue Anne was a proud member of the DAR, Order of the Eastern Star, and Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church Senior Choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Harriet Severson, and her longtime loving partner, Ken Awsumb Jr.
Graveside service will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery on January 18, 2022, 10AM. Memorials can be made to Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church.
