Terence Nicholas Doyle

October 13, 1936 - June 2, 2026

Terry Doyle of Naples, FL and White Bear Lake, MN, died peacefully with his loving family around him on June 2, 2026. His final day was with the family he cherished sharing memories and tearful goodbyes. Following his Last Rites and a family rosary, he took his final breath.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Judy Doyle (Glodek), 4 favorite daughters, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Terry was born on October 13, 1936 in Minneapolis, the youngest of six children. He graduated from DeLaSalle High School, the University of Saint Thomas and cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1961.

He practiced law with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC where he worked from 1961 to 1964 and then with the St. Paul office of Briggs and Morgan for over 40 years.

While Terry earned a reputation as a distinguished attorney who was dedicated to serving his clients, his legacy will be his Catholic faith, passion for life, and the unconditional love he shared with his family. He met his wife Judy at his college graduation and they married in September, 1960. They were blessed with four daughters, Cecile (Bob) Schauer, Colleen Doyle, Kathy (Walt) Turner and Caroline (Steve) Lyngdal, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Terry shared his love with his family daily and taught them the joy of just being together, whether sitting on the porch at the cabin, hiking in Colorado, or on one of many family vacations. In addition to his family, he loved skiing, hiking, fishing, playing tennis, living in Florida, going out to eat, spending time at the cabin, eating chocolate chip cookies, and going to Costco.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist Church in New Brighton. A visitation will be held one hour prior to mass at 9:30 am, with lunch following mass.

Terry was an amazing man and a truly great husband, father, grandfather and friend. We will carry him in our hearts forever. LYLYGBY
