Terina will be deeply missed by her mother, Teresa Rodriguez-Xalate; father, Donnavin Burkhalter; brothers, Donnavin Jr. and Daspen; grandparents, Christine Rodriguez-Xalate, Robert Rozmarynowski, Derrick and Karla Burkhalter; uncles, Jose Rodriguez-Xalate, Antonio Gaddy, Derrick Burkhalter Jr.; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Kara Mittelstadt.
Terina had an adventurous spirit and loved to be outside going on nature walks, playing at the park, and swimming. She loved going to school, painting, and arts and crafts. She also loved going to Target with her mom.
Gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 2-4pm at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis. Funeral service will begin at 4pm. Burial at Sunset Cemetery.
