

Mrs. Thảo Lam Thái, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, at the age of 91.
Born on October 7, 1933, in Huế, Vietnam, Mrs. Thái lived a life of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her children—Nina, Nhạn, Paul, and Howie—and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and warmth to every generation.
Throughout her life, Mrs. Thái was known for her kindness, her enduring spirit, and her ability to find humor even in life’s most difficult moments. Her generosity and gentle wisdom touched everyone who knew her. She faced life’s challenges with resilience and grace, always offering love, support, and guidance to those around her.
A woman of deep Buddist faith and tradition, Mrs. Thái carried with her the enduring values of compassion, humility, and perseverance. Her home was a place of love, where tea was shared, stories were told, and hearts were healed.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and a family forever grateful for her sacrifices and unconditional care. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit continues to live on in the lives of those she touched.
Mrs. Thai will be laid to rest on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 @ 2:00 pm at Block 14, Lot 323, Space 2 at the Sunset Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
