Thomas Lee Grabinski

He is proceeded in death by his mother and father; sisters JoAnn, Jean, Carol, Barb, and brother, Bill.

Tom served in the U.S. Airforce and then worked at Honeywell nearly all of his adult life. Just before retirement, Tom fulfilled his dream of living on the golf course, where he resided in Monticello on the 6th hole.

Known to many on the course as “Grabber”, he spent countless hours and days golfing. He lived and worked at the course. He was always busy golfing with the Senior 8 Man, Senior 4 Man, and MGA Senior Tour.

When he wasn’t golfing, Tom was likely enjoying time with his 2 daughters Krista (Dale), and Kelly (Andy), and his 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and ex-wife and life long friend, Maggie.

Tom was known for his strong and passionate personality. What you saw is what you got! Through that hard shell was a soft, gentle man that would give you the shirt off of his back.

A private service for family is being planned at Fort Snelling Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for October 10th, 2026.
