Viola was born in Mobile, Alabama to Henry Kemp Sr and Hattie Kemp on October 22, 1948. She went to high school at Williamson Senior High School and graduated in 1966. She went on to study Nursing at the University of Alabama.

Viola enjoyed a long and successful career in Sales for Northwestern Bell / AT&T.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was involved in the Black Women’s Society of Dakota County.

Viola is survived by her Husband, Don Mills; Daughter, LaVecchia Mozangue; Son, Tramayne Mills; Sister, Deborah Thompson; Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Henry and Hattie Kemp; Daughter, Erika Mozangue Drayton; Brother, Henry Kemp Jr.; Sister, Delores Kemp; Brother Ralph Robinson.

As family and friends, we were blessed to have had Viola in our lives, and we will miss her deeply.
