Wendy Marie Sederstrom

Wendy grew up in Saint Paul MN and attended Harding high school. She joined the army and served as mess hall cook, where she fed soldiers as they were leaving Vietnam. She had many jobs as her work ethic was one of her strengths. Wendy worked over a decade for the pioneer press and retired from the state of MN. Her work as MN tribal veterans' officer was something she took great pride in. She worked very hard and was passionate about help disabled veterans to get the assistance they deserved. She also was an advocate for her brother Dan, she was his voice and loved him very much.

She enjoyed walking outdoors, spending time with family, casino and watching wheel of fortune and Jeopardy.

Wendy is survived by her daughter; daughter, Samara (Jeramie); granddaughters, Caylin (Maurice), Adaya and Grandson Vincent and Brianna (Gerid); great grandchild, Lyle; great grandson, Roman; siblings, Debra (Paul), Kevin (Emily), Daniel, Milita (Michael).

She is preceded in death by her, parents Ronald and Joyce (Johnson) Sederstrom.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home, Minneapolis with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Private burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery.
