William K. Schoen

William “Bill” Schoen, passed away peacefully at home on January 7.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Urban and Margaret.

Bill will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years, Kathryn; children, Michelle (Bob), Will (JoAnn), Ann, Kathleen (Kevin); grandson, Dustin (Lori); great-grandchildren, Ellie, Olivia, Jaida.

Bill served in the US Navy and SBM Volunteer Fire Dept. He retired from Honeywell after 30+ years. He was a longtime member of American Legion Post 566 and DAV Chapter 39.

Funeral service will take place at 2pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Sunset Kapala-Glodek Funeral Home, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis. Visitation will begin at 12pm. Burial at Sunset Cemetery.

A special thanks to Allina Health Hospice, Tracy, Sandy and their team, and all who helped from Legacy Home Care for their kindness and comforting care.

Memorials may be made in Bill’s name to American Parkinson Disease Association.
