Shop days were cut way to short, as with everything nothing remains the same forever.  You will be greatly missed.  Hope to see you on the flip side.

Brian, we spoke a couple of years ago and talked about getting together for coffee, that meeting never happened and its a real shame. Right now I am sitting sat my desk tears streaming down my face can hardly read the screen.....During our conversation we also spoke about work/family/friends and keeping our priorities strait, you taught me something that day I will never forget and I thank you for that. Because of that conversation I made some changes in my life all thanks to you, am still in Alberta for now and that is why I didn't get to see you and the Commodore crew yesterday, I am sure it was a great group of people that came out to your memorial.
Life isn't fair sometimes and this is a great example of that, I will hold on o the memories for the rest of my days. "Hold Fast" buddy and may you rest at peace. Your loss has impacted many and it is a reflection of how good of a man you are., maybe I will see you on the other side....

Brian, I enjoyed re-connecting with you a couple of years ago after loosing touch for 25 years. Love FB for finding old friends. I enjoyed getting messages from you from time to time and will miss that! I will treasure our friendship & the time we worked together at The Commodore. I was truly blessed to have known you.

Broken, that's how I'm feeling!! You brought so much love and Joy to everyone who met you!!  My family are so happy that I brought you into their lives!  They, like me are reeling with sadness and heartache!  You were my dearest friend,  onetime partner and confidant !  I will always have the best memories of our time together!! Uncle Brian,  I love you so, so much, and I think about you everyday. It's still hard to believe that you're gone.  One of the best memories I have, is when you came over that one Christmas, I think I was 10, you brought me a guitar, my first acoustic guitar. you also brought your own electric guitar.  You  taught me how to play some chords on the guitar, and that inspired me to go into guitar lessons.  Now whenever I play the guitar I will think of you.  I love you uncle Brian, I will never forget you.

Brian, the loss of you has left me more shattered than I knew was possible.  How can I even put into words all the things that you meant to me over the course of our lives, first as a partner, later as a friend?  Your warm smile, the sound of your laughter, your sense of humour, your numerous talents, your concern for others, even in the midst of your own unimaginable struggles. The letters you have written, your face on film, the projects you have helped withall the small fragments of your life that I hold onto now are imbued with something so fragile and precious.  

I want to tell your family how much they meant to you, as if they don't already know. How much you cherished your little sister and niece The way you described Graham's occasional frustration with you with absolute gratitude; he was your rock.

There is much more to say, but how? We love you Brian, and will miss you always.

I miss you so damn much, it's not fair. My heart is breaking, do you know how much I love you, how much you are loved by so many? I will always remember you, in this picture, smiling, holding your camera. I'm still in shock I think, and even though each day I struggle to know that I'm never going to see you in this world, life will never be the same for me. The world is a quieter place without you, a little sadder, and emptier.  I still can't believe that you are gone and will struggle with that for some time yet to come. I will cherish and hold every memory of you close to my heart. I loved our talks about anything and everything. From work to spiritual. Thank you for being there, I could always count on you when I needed you. But I'm still feeling a little selfish and wish you were here. I wish I could get one more bear hug from you, and hear you play the guitar with Shelby. That memory I will cherish forever and so will she. She misses you so very much and when she cries, she says she wishes she would have seen more of you so she could have more memories to hold onto.  It breaks my heart. We hold each other a lot right now. So do Graham and I. We are trying to get through this together, talking, hugging, spending time together and just being there for each other. Now, it's just him and me and we will forever be missing a part in our lives, our older brother, big brother, and best friend. I love you both so much. Now, you are with mom and dad, and in a way I'm jealous. But I know I will see you all again one day. For now, I will miss you forever and love you for always, my big brother you'll forever be.

The world was a better place because of Brian   What do I remember most? Brian's smile and laugh of course. Then there's The Commodore, camping trips and convertible. Brian was an amazing big brother and friend. Prayers of peace for Graham and Darnell and Kim, Shelby and Mirza.  My thoughts and love are with you all.

Brian you were such a kind and gentle soul taken far too soon.
I shall miss our chats and time together but I am truly grateful for having had you as part of my life. May you Rest in Peace knowing that you have given us each the best of yourself and warm memories in our hearts and minds of times with you filled with laughter and fun.
Courage and strength to all the family and friends as we mourn such a great loss.

We are at a loss for words , our hearts ache at your passing . Brian was kind hearted and had a great sense of humor , we wish we had kept in touch with you more ... may you RIP Brian and we will see you on the other side
