She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Kathy & Ted Bilko of Harrison Mills and her son & daughter-in law Cameron & Trena Watson of Calgary and her brother & sister-in-law Bill & Gloria Young of Calgary. She was immensely proud of her grandkids and great-grand kids who brought her such joy. Telisha Watson & Justin Preikchas (Caden, Colten & Cody) Tallahassee; Nicholas Bilko & Chloae Drummond (Brynnlee & Baby Boy arriving in May) Mission; Travis & Julia Watson (Declan, Wesley & Reid) Calgary; Tia Watson & TJ Calgary; Matthew Bilko White Rock. Ev had an insatiable appetite for travel and cruised the world. An adventurer at heart, she would often eschew the traditional shore excursions and grab a cab and ask the driver to show her ‘the local life’. On these trips she met many people who became friends for life. Her personality was so engaging and she had a wicked sense of humour, so people were naturally drawn to her. That sense of humour was loved by her kids and grandkids, too. Cam and Mom had a very special relationship. They could laugh and joke about just about anything (most of it not politically correct!) Mom loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. We were so fortunate to have her in our lives. Rest gently Mom, but find some time to kick up your heels with Dad. We will miss you dearly. No service as requested by Mom, but when our family can gather, we plan to hoist a glass in remembrance of all the fun times.
