Istvan Szabo (Steve) aged 72 years passed away peacefully at 10:50 am on January 28, 2016. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Ilona; son Istvan (Andrea); grandchildren Briyana, Anthony, Vito; Godchildren DJ, Helen, Murray and close friends Rose and Hoggie John; nieces and nephews Joe, Jonathan, Joshua, Daniel as well as many relatives and friends in Hungary and in Canada.
Istvan was a true outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his three amazing grandkids.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses from the 4th floor for all their love and care of Istvan.
