JAEGGLE, Gilbert Ernest December 12, 1931 - March 3, 2016Surrounded by the love of his family; Gil passed away on March 3, 2016 at Mission Hospital. Survived by wife Maureen, daughters, Kathleen Lauzon (Andrew), Judy Brown (Dan), Linda Ziefflie (Brent), grandchildren Christine, Anthony, Danielle, Jordan, Taylor, Kiefor, Kate, predeceased by Connor, sister Lucy Schikora (Martin), sisters-in-law Ann Caspersen, Pat Jaeggle, Anne Jaeggle, many nephews and nieces. A longtime Deputy Sheriff in New Westminster and Vancouver, he served for many years in the RCMP Auxiliary and Search & Rescue in Coquitlam. Gil was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Maple Ridge and Mission. Special thanks to the staff at Carrington House, ACE Unit of Abbotsford Hospital and the 2nd floor staff at Mission Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Welsh and his staff. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 10 at 11:00, at St. Joseph's Parish in Mission, BC. No flowers by request.
