Judy passed away peacefully at her home after a brave battle with cancer. She is survived by her four children: D’arcy (Lisa), Robert (Kim), Kristine (Gary), and Dawn; seven grandchildren that she loved and adored: Spencer, Ashley, Riki, Taylor, Dustin, Carly and Cody; and predeceased by her loving husband, Ellis Charles Barter.
Jude bred champion Boxers and was a member of the Canadian Kennel Club for over 30 years. She was also a successful realtor and land agent. Along with her surviving family, Jude was admired, respected and considered a second “Mom” to so many who loved her. The loss of Jude has affected so many. She will always be remembered and cherished as a strong, brilliant, humorous, kind loving soul. Gone, but never forgotten, although truly missed.
A private family service will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Society or BC SPCA.
