April 22, 1966 – June 26, 2025
Linda was born to John and Anne Toews in Vancouver, BC. After a sudden relapse of cancer, Linda passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord Jesus, surrounded by loved ones who will miss her dearly.
Linda was a joyful light to all those who knew her. She grew up as the 2nd youngest of 5 sisters. After moving to Abbotsford, Linda swooped into Columbia Bible Institute for a semester and met Greg. They married in 1988, celebrating their 10 and 20 year anniversaries with the additions of Alexa and Evan. Linda found deep fulfillment in her career as a Registered Nurse at MSA and later, Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She was warmly embraced by her church family at Northview, where she was involved with the baking team, care group, and children’s ministry.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Alexa, son Evan, sisters Ruth (Paul), Lorna (Walter), Marian, Anita (Dan), mother-in-law Mary Huebner, brother-in-law Steve (Linda), sister-in-law Cathie (Jim), many extended family and friends, and her dog, Lucy.
