Bob, (Red) was born on February 6, 1933 at Nurse Harkey’s in Biggar Saskatchewan. He was raised on his family’s Homestead in Wilson Lake Saskatchewan, until moving to Oliver B.C in 1945, where he finished his schooling.
At the age of 18, Bob joined the Air Force and was posted to Ontario, where he spent much time in Trenton. After a tour of service in Germany, Bob returned to Trenton Ontario, where he met and married Rose Sauve, and had their son Rick.
After 13 years of service, Bob moved to B.C with his second wife, Dora in 1968.
Bob made his home in Midway B.C with his family in 1974, as the Municipal Administrator and affidavits commissioner for the Villiage of Midway until his retirement in 2002.
Predeceased by his infant grand-son Trent in 1992; the love of his life Dora in 2011, his son Rick in 2013, and step daughter Denise in 2014.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Kimberley Brennan (Rob); Michelle Whymark (Chris),
Grandchildren, Aaron Hatton (Maddy), Deidre Hatton, Melissa Bell Painter (Paul), Michael Getz (Adan) Jordan Brennan (Alexandra); Jasmyne Whymark (Danny) Tianna Whymark, Tanner Whymark, Robert Brennan (Natalie), and Shannon and Shawndel Duguay.
Great Grand- children; Ainsley, Ashton, and two great grand- children on the way.
Bobs entire family was his most proudest achievement in life, and had a special gift to make everyone he met, feel like family…
Bob will be most remembered by “His kindness and generosity, exceeded by his good looks and charming personality bestowed upon him by the Good lord “Amen!”
Rest in Peace Dad and Papa. We are sending you up to the Spirit in the sky!
