With great sadness Ross's family says goodbye. He is survived by his wife Janis, three daughters Deanne, Christine (Russell) Carly (Greg) and son Christopher as well as 12 grandchildren, brothers Dick and Raymond, sisters Glenda and Mary. Ross took pride in being a professional truck driver for over 30 years. He also loved to fish and was the handiest guy you knew, always willing to lend a hand to a friend to fix a leak or lay a floor. Ross and Janis enjoyed many cruises together and he has the t-shirt collection to prove it! His favorite cruise destination was Alaska but he made the most friends in Puerto Vallarta over the past ten years. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
From Janis: My dearest Ross, how do I begin to say goodbye after 44 years? You have been my everything, always being there during good and bad. I am going to miss you every day, remembering all of our wonderful trips, meeting new friends, and especially our most recent years enjoying our second home in Puerto Vallarta with our new families.
From Carly: I will always remember the playhouse that Dad built when I was young, which he painted to look just like our house. I was in awe of his building skills and I thank him for my love of tools and my drive to "fix it" myself! Dad declared his faith in Jesus Christ before his passing and he enjoyed listening to me read from the Bible before he went into TRIM. We had several beautiful conversations about who Jesus was and His sacrifice on the cross for our sins. I hold these dear as I celebrate his graduation to Heaven where we will see each other again.
From Christine: I am thankful to have been present in his life over the past few months, and I'll miss seeing his big smile.
