I would like to pass on my deepest sympathy to all the O'Beirne Family. As someone who has lost a parent recently I do appreciate the pain you must be feeling now. I never met Tommy but, as a child my mother spoke of him regularly. A certain look would come on her face when she spoke of him. It was very clear that she was very fond of him. I would like to think they are happily reunited in the next world as we speak .I hope you all find some comfort from your family and friends at this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.

I am really sorry for your loss. Uncle Tom was a great brother to my mother and his late night (& long) phone-calls to my mum so cheered her up after my Dad died. His phone-calls were legendary and his timing was uncanny, whenever my mum was down it was like he sensed it.

We never got to meet Tom but my parents talked so many times about their visit to Mission in Vancouver and they had a great time - we got to know Tom and your mother through their stories. There was always a photo of them in our house. It is sad to see Tom go as the last of the O'Beirne family - Maura, Nuala, Claire, Pauline, Tom, Sean, Bridie and Seamus.

Our thoughts are with you - Godfrey O'Dowd, Jackie, Daniel, Ryan, Callum and Joshua

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.(May his soul be on God's right hand)

Hello. I wanted to pass on the sympathies of the Irish O'Beirne/Underwoods. My mother, Pauline, always spoke so fondly of Tom - I'm sad to say that I never met him but he sounded like a lovely man. I know that my mother continued to enjoy the odd, late night and long phone call with Tom until she died. Regards, Pauline
