Aurora Rosales past on November 17, 2014 in Mission Hills, CA at Holy Cross Hospital in the presence of her loved ones. She was much loved from the day she was born until the moment she took her last breath. Aurora was born March 24, 1962 as Aurora Garcia to her mother Maria Elena Vivanco in the city of San Fernando at the old Community Hospital. She was a very quiet and studious girl growing up. While attending San Fernando High School she met Joey Rosales who would eventually become her "honey". Before Aurora was ready to settle down though she continued her schooling by going to college for a short time. After completing some courses her and Joey decided to get married which took place in April of 1982 and began their family. In October of 1983 Aurora was filled with much joy when she became a mother giving birth to her baby girl Sonia. Through her first year as a mother she was diagnosed with cancer. She proved all those nay sayers wrong when they said she only had a few months to live. She fought through it and continued working at her various office jobs and finally at Haddon Elementary. She met many new people and made some wonderful friends there. She worked there for many years before she became I'll once again causing her to no longer be able to work. This saddened her, however she continued fighting and living her life to the fullest. She was a stay at home mother and wife. As the years past Aurora watched Sonia grow and begin her own life which Aurora was a big part of. Aurora was very involved in helping her daughter out with learning how to be a good wife and eventually a good mother. In 2005 she was so excited and proud to be a grandmother to her first granddaughter whom she adored more than life itself. A few years later in 2008 she even happier to say she was a grandma once again. She loves children therefore adored having her grandchildren around her constantly. Aurora was a big part of her grandchild's lives as well from the day they were born. As she fell ill this last time her love for them grew within their little hearts and they were by her side the entire time. Aurora was and will forever be loved. She is survived by her husband, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law and the rest of her family whom loved her so. She will continue to live on through them as she touched each and everyone of us.
