Felicitas Fely M Reyes

She was born on January 10, 1934 in Palindan, Ibaan Batangas, Philippines to Domingo Macatangay and Mercedez Marasigan. Fely was the oldest of four children – Cesar, Dettie and Linda.

Fely was married to Balbino “Ben” Reyes in Ibaan Batangas, Philippines on June 10, 1956, and was blessed to celebrate 57 years of their marriage. They have six children: Ven, Noli, Adora, Rey, Joel and Joyce. Fely was a very devoted mother, grandmother, and a loving wife. As a devoted mother, Fely loved her six children unconditionally and placed the needs of all her children above her own.

Fely is a tireless servant of God. She believed in prayers and the bible saying that “all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.” She always turned to God for guidance for her children and for the whole family.

She graduated from the Deluxe Fashion School in Manila, Philippines. She was an award winning designer from her class. She continued her passion for clothing design and creation all her life. She created wedding dresses for many clients and friends in the Philippines and also here in the US.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband, children and grandchildren to many North American destinations including the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal, Alaska, New York, Florida, and Las Vegas.

Fely is remembered by her six children and six grandchildren: Mathew, Mark, Kim, Josephine, Abigail, and Emily.

Fely will always be loved and admired by all those who were fortunate and blessed enough to have known her.
