Gregoria Martinez Arreguin

Gregoria M. Arreguin, 84 of Pacoima passed away Tuesday morning May 10th, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She died peacefully in her sleep in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her children Erlinda Arreguin, Gregorio Arreguin and Arturo Arreguin. She is survived by her brother Victor Quezada; sons Carlos Arreguin, Jorge Arreguin, Pedro Arreguin, Paulino Arreguin, Jose Arreguin, daughters Juanita Ferrer, Teresa Featherman and their father, Gregorio Arreguin. She also leaves 22 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Gregoria was born in Williams, Arizona to Jose Martinez and Amalia Becerra. She last worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Telfair Elementary School, where she also served as president of the PTA. She loved to sing, cook and was devoted to her family. She was quiet, soft spoken and loved to garden and always lent her ear and liked to share her advice.

Services will be held in the chapel, at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary, 11160 Stranwood Avenue. Entrance is at the corner on Rinaldi Street and Sepulveda Boulevard. The vigel / rosary is on Thursday, May 19, 5:00pm - 9:00pm. The funeral mass is at 9:00am Friday, May 20. Burial will be at the San Fernando Mission Cemetary.
