 Though I only knew you for moments here I enjoyed your daughter and yourself at the restaurant. Your bright smile, easy going fun and spirit just made my day. May you know peace and security in that you done well here with your legacy. Rest easy.

What a beautiful soul. She had the ability to make people feel comfortable and protected in her presence.  I will never forget her warm, inviting smile. I am so thankful I had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be missed by all.

Dear Brenda, Kelly and girls, Jason, Melissa and family and Vernita.    I didn't know your mom well, having only met her at Brenda and Kelly's wedding but I remember her beautiful smile and warm personality.   My thoughts are with you at this sad time. I know how it feels to lose your mom and also know that your memories will become more cherished.   This is a difficult time for you all and I want to send hugs your way.   Brenda, you must be so proud of your girls, their notes that they posted here were from their hearts and were there own words and thoughts.    Very, very special.

I remember my first US Thanksgiving with you in Bullhead City, AZ.  A 25 pound turkey for just the 4 of us (you, Vernita, Brenda and I) ... lots of laughs.  We must not forget the upside down spaceship curtains to keep the house cool.  You and David say some prayers for us, I know you are happy to be with him again.  Brenda, the girls and I can always use some sprinkles from heaven to keep us afloat.  God bless!

Thank you for loving me and caring about me for all these years. Even if I didn't know you that well, I'll still miss you. You will rest in Heaven but also in my heart. You were always a great(as in AWESOME)grandma and mother. Every once in a while I think of you. I think that I should've got to know you better. You should've seen my mom. Your daughter Brenda. When she herd that you had passed on. She was crying for two or even four days strait. She misses you so much. I can't even explain how much she misses you. She thanks you for raising her and teaching her right from wrong. You had a good life, and now you have a better one. Rest in peace. -Hannah

Ms. Wanat, your gentle smile and the unique relationship you shared with your daughter Venita Blessed me beyond expression.  You remind me so much of my Great Grandmother, who still lives in my heart. Goodbyes are very difficult for me.

I had the pleasure of spending time with you Norma, at DJ and Michelle's home.  You always had that lovely smile on your face, taking everything in.  I enjoyed speaking with you and what a wonderful sense of humor you had.  May your spirit soar.  With deepest sympathy to your family and lots and lots of love.

We truly missed our Grandma Norma this season, she was such a great lady !  She was such a great inspiration,  prayers, love and hugs of support sent to all who knew her.

Mom, I don't know how to or want to say goodbye....thank you for fostering my creativity and teaching me how to knit, crochet, sew, cook, and budget! Things I am passing on to your granddaughters with pride.  Even through the rocky times between us there were valuable life lessons learned that have helped me become the person I am today.
Rest well Mom, you have earned it.  I will miss you until we are together again. I love you.

Grandma Norma was parent to many of us in McDara's at Kronaburg.  She became a part of our family immediately.  I remember her pulling weeds during our annual clean up only two years ago.  She always had  a word of encouragement and a smile that could light up the galaxy.  I missed her and Vernita this year very much.  She will be sorely missed.
     I will be unable to attend her funeral but my heart and prayers are with you all.  

     Vernita, my Celtic sister, I wish you strength and the awareness of how much you are loved. When you are ready to get together, let me know. And if I can help you, please give me a call.

We always enjoyed Mom's beautiful smile and her desire to live life to the fullest.  We will miss her presence, and shall carry her gift of "Love" forever within our hearts.

Have such great memories, you were like a second mom. Being new to New Mexico we didn't have many friends, but you always made me feel welcome in your home.  Also will always remember the laughter in the house . Just playing and allowing us to be kids. Will miss your smile and your kind heart. Vernita my best friend....I am so sorry for you loss. We only met once -   it was that little pink car that brought us together.  We stopped at Home Goods, and yes we were shopping.  When we came out there it was.  Right near our car and begging us to look.  We turned and checked that little pink car out.  Walked around - figuring out how someone could drive that small car.  After a few minutes - out came two people -  laughing - yes laughing at us.  They were watching and listening to us the whole time, from inside the car,and enjoying every minute.  It was easy to get to know Norma and Vernita.  -  Norma was making that easy.   We have kept in touch since then by texting on our smart phone.  Friends since then, and until now, we have never met again.  So very sorry Vernita.   RIP Norma.
