Rocio, I'm still in complete shock and I feel like reality still has not hit me yet. You've been my sister since I was 15. I don't remember what it's like to not have you in my life. I have never ever met anyone like you. You are definitely one of a kind. Straight out, no filter but the absolute most loving sweetest person! You have always been there for me and my babies. From the highs to the darkest lows of my life. You were the one that I turned to and the only one I truly confided in. You were there for me and my family when Sylvia was sick and when she passed you made sure I knew I still had you and Ivonne as sisters. Then within 6 months I lost you. Words cannot express how it feels to lose 2 sisters. I have a video of you cutting Sylvia's hair when it started to fall off and when she cried about it, you let her know it was just hair and it would grow back. It's so surreal to see this video now and know the 2 beautiful women I see are now Angels. Then to see you cut your own hair off and you were all smiles, made me see how strong of a woman you are. When Sylvia passed away you told me "Don't cry. It's okay. You need to stay strong for your kids and your family. Just know there is no more suffering or pain. She's in a better place. If you need to cry or go off on someone, call me. We'll go out for a drink so we can cry, yell or laugh. Just because things changed You're still my sister and I'm always here for you hun, no matter what." It gives me comfort to know that's how you truly felt and you are not suffering or in pain anymore. You're in a better place. Life will not be the same without you. You told me when you go through something like this you think of the little things and that's what matters most. So... Who is going to be my Dr. Phil? Who is going to give me pep talks and tell me to get it together? Who is going to do my hair? You're the only one I trusted! Who am I supposed to make carrot cakes for at Thanksgiving? Who's going to be my big sister now? Only god knows how much life we get to enjoy. I know I will see you again. You will forever hold a big place in my heart. Assalamualaikum hun. I love you Roc!!!

 It's no surprise that having you in our lives has changed us permanently and for the better; because of you we learned to be a lot braver than we thought we could ever be. Roc you taught us not be scared and most importantly to fight and never give up. Because even when you were tired and not feeling well, you managed to transmit your beautiful smile and positive energy. You continued to motivate us with your strength and courage. You will always and forever be my hero. I am eternally grateful for your friendship. You're looking down on us from heaven my friend, and you're alive in our hearts. Until we meet again.

     Oh Roc, how I will miss you. I don't think I expressed enough my love and appreciation for you. Life is never perfect but our love is. Life will never be the same, here or in the heavens, but somewhere in time we will sit down and catch-up. 
     Your love and protection was always first that of a mother and your interest of a friend. If we could do it over again, I would make sure we had more moments together-alone, but I won't live in the past for your presence will always be in the moment. How many laughs and how many tears did we pass together? But now I am left to cry alone, now you only laugh, but I promise, with Gods help, I will share as many laughs today- with you. Now I see how much of an impact you have made, with me, Ivonne, mom and with many others- somberly moved, and frozen your loved ones are- by your departure; I thank you for all your ways, love and friendships, but you were only responding to your nature-perfect in Gods eyes.

My dear Roc. Words cannot describe what I feel or want to say.  So for now I will start with I  don't know what I am going to do without you hun.  I sometimes feel like this is still a dream and you're going to call me back because I left you lots of messages.  But then reality hits and my heart starts to ache and tears start the water fall.  We have been thru so much together and have so many memories. We have been in each others lives for a very very long time and you were suppose to be around to see everything we talked about.  I still have the last voicemail you left me right before you were taken to the emergency room and I'm going to save it as long as I can.  Please save me a seat up there too. God bless you my sister and may you rest in peace.  I miss you so much and I love you...I Love YOU...I LOVE YOU!!!!! <3

I will always miss you my rocky. For as long as I can remember you have been there. From pig tails till the present you have been my sister from another mister. They say when you have friends who you grew up with and have remained friends that they are true friends. Thru thick and thin we have been there for each other. All I us! Relapses here in there due to life events but always close by. I truly believed that this would go on for ever. Now your gone and I just can't bare the thought of us never speaking, laughing, cafetiar, chismeiar on the next news of someone's drama lol. I will always keep you close to my heart. Fuiste una muy luchadora mujer que hasta el último momento te enfrentaste valientemente a esa terrible enfermedad, pero ahora ya estás disfrutando el descanso eterno gracias por tu ejemplo de fortaleza siempre te recordaré con mucho cariño Roció siempre fuiste conmigo muy amigable Dios te reciba en su santos brazos ! Mi Sucia, As i'm writing this I am still in disbelief. But you're not gone. You will live on in my heart and the hearts of everyone that loves you and who's souls you've touched. I'm the luckiest man in the world for having met you. And for being able to tell you how much I loved you every chance I got.
