Dearest Sam: You put a new meaning to the word Dad and Papa. Your generosity, kindness and caring will live on because of you. To say thank you and thank you Pat seems so small for your hospitality you both have shone me. I will miss our talks about the 50's, Politics and the bowling alley. The donuts we shared on Sunday mornings, and the talks with Uncle Art were priceles. Don't know how one person could have been such a giant of a man in his lifetime. 
Your family always came first and I so admired you for that. You loved your children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren so much that others could always see the love you showed. 
The love you had and showed to your precious wife Pat for all these years is priceless. It won't be the same without you Sam when someone says Sam and Pat, but thank the Lord you are in a better place. You have truly run the race and your reward is in Heaven.
You were one in a million and I'll never forget you and your wonderful family. RIP Sam, God needed another Angel in heaven.

Hollywood Star Lanes was my second home.  I met the best people there..Sam wasn't just the owner but a friend and to some a father figure.  We werent just a bunch of kids who would stick around all nite til early morning...we were like his kids..we were family..some of us helped at the front desk..bothered Suzanna at the bar..helped out Memo if he needed it and occasionally would go to the back with Gator..lol..it was like a second home...Sam you were a big part of my growing up and I can say those times there were the best times of my life and I thank you for that........I remember how happy you were when I came in 2nd at Harry Grant....nothin wrong with back up bowling you said!!! Rest easy my friend.......

Hey Patty, just wanted to say Thank You for allowing  me to say  Thanks and Good Bye to Sam "Cheeks", the day he Past. It meant so much for me for You to Open your house and Your Heart at the Time that You were going through this. I'm still processing Lisa's call because I was Just there. He helped me out so much as he had helped so  many at Hollywood Star Lanes. I will Miss Sam so much. He will always be n my prayers and so will You! Love You, Yaya!!!
