Stacie was born in Camden, NJ and spent her early years in Pittsburgh, PA, and Barrington, RI. Following a move to Bucks County, PA, Stacie attended Gwynedd Mercy Academy from grade school through high school. She was an avid athlete, and enjoyed competing in field hockey and basketball. In her junior year, after relocating to Valencia, Stacie attended Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, where she graduated in 1981.
She attended Pepperdine University, before beginning full--‐time work at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Stacie made life--‐long friendships during her 15+ years there. While working, she also completed college courses at University of Redlands. In the mid--‐1990’s, she made the brave leap into commercial film production, and never looked back. Her 20+ year career as a production manager and producer paired her with some of the top directors and production companies in the business, and took her to remote locations from South Korea to Iceland, Portugal and Uruguay.
Stacie was a generous, caring and compassionate soul, a loyal friend, and a joy to her family. She loved to travel, cook, ride her bike around the Santa Clarita Valley, and spend time with her family and close friends. She will be greatly missed by her parents Joan and Henry, brother Mark, sisters Lynn and Jill, nephews Sam and James, and her precious dog Patty.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stacie’s name to New Leash on Life: www.newleash.org.
