He was a talented upholsterer and proud rancher who started his own business in the 70’s in Mission, Texas. Adan loved spending time with his family and took great pride in ensuring that his children all received an education.
Adan is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings; Baldemar Garcia, Gabriela Garcia, Mario Garcia, Ofelia Garcia, Ofilia Garcia and Mirta (Grande) Garcia.
Adan is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elvia Garcia Lopez, and his five children. Yvonne Garcia Garza, Maribel Farias (Steven), Adriana Garcia, Alex Garcia and Alberto Garcia (Carla.) He is also survived by his loving grandkids and great-grandkids: Ian Farias (Sarah), Karina Farias, Sergio Farias, Omar Garza, Iliana Garza, Alexis L. Garcia, Trey Trevino, Stella Trevino, Benicio Farias and Ophelia Farias.
He is also survived by his sisters, Benita Garza and Mirtha Barrera.
Adan will be missed greatly by family and friends.
