Adell Bray was born on February 22, 1930 in Denmark, Arkansas to John Wesley and Zelma Bray. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers: Earl Cagle, Andrew, Alvie, Julius and Johnnie Bray, 2 sisters: Jurene and Odaline; and his son: Tommy Joe. He is survived by his wife of 67 years; Elizabeth Garner Bray, his sister Pearline Holden; his daughter Catherine and her husband Harold Head; his granddaughters Kerri Jo and her husband Jason Rhyne, Michelle Marie and her husband Oscar Dominguez and Brandy Lynn Woychesin; 4 great-grandsons Nicholas Cole, Noah Andrew, Jared Paul and Kage Scott; 4 great-granddaughters Madison Paige, Sadie Elizabeth, Sophia Celase, Siera Marie; and by his great-great grandson Samuel Cole. He has lived in Mission, Texas for over 67 years, on the same home place for 63 years. He spent his life in the oil field as a diesel mechanic, known on the rigs as “Motor Man” or as a Truck Driver. He died at the Comfort House on August 9, 2018 at the age of 88 years. His care was under the direction of Dr. Augustine Mego and Harbor Hospice. He died quietly in his sleep and received excellent care by the Comfort House, Augustine Mego MD and Harbor Hospice.
