

Armando Gallegos left this world peacefully to be with the Lord and his loved ones that preceded him, on March 15, 2023. He was born in Sanchez Román Zacatecas, Mexico in November 30, 1933, and immigrated to the United States in February 13, 1957 where he live many years in Detroit, Michigan. There he worked as a professional butcher. While on a Sunday outing aboard a local cruise ship, he me Elma Gallegos – the love of his life, whom he married on January 30, 1960 in a beautiful Catholic wedding, and remained happily married until his demise. He and Elma moved Monterrey Mexico in June 20, 1968 to establish a very successful poultry farm became, and invest in real estate. Upon selling the business in Monterrey, they, and their children, came to live in McAllen, Texas where they all presently reside. Armando was a self-assured, confident man who with his tireless work-ethic, provided very well for his family. His main enjoyment was spending time with his friends, but mostly with his family and traveling to commonly known tourist destinations. He leaves behind his ever faithful and loving wife Elma, and his three children Armando Jr. (Damaris), Rodolfo (Veronica), Tanya (Fernando), and grandchildren Stephany, Kevin, Shantal, Rodolfo Jr. and Valeria Alondra, Samantha, Priscilla, and Alejandro. All who loved him immensely and enjoyed visiting regularly. He will be remembered indefinitely, and will be missed forever.

Services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel / Valley Memorial Gardens on Monday, March 20, 2023. Visitation to the public will start at 2 PM to 9 PM, Rosary at 7 PM.
