It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Blanca Estela Montoya Huerta, who left us on March 18, 2025, at the age of 71. Blanca was born on September 18, 1953, and touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and infectious positivity.
Blanca is survived by her loving children, Jose Guadalupe Montoya and Blanca Montoya-Gutierrez, who carry forward her spirit and cherish the memories of a devoted mother. She was a proud and nurturing presence in their lives and will be deeply missed.
Blanca lived life with an open heart and a joyful spirit. She had a deep love for the simple joys of life, including bingo, dancing, and music, always radiating positivity and laughter. A lover of good food, she was known for her cooking, especially her delicious menudo, and could often be found knitting or working on her favorite crossword puzzles. Her bear hugs were legendary, offering comfort and warmth to all who needed it.
Blanca was also an avid fan of her Starbucks mango dragon fruit lemonade refresher, and her smile was a constant reminder of the light she brought into the world.
Her positivity and gentle nature will never be forgotten, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
