Born on January 22, 1942, to Leopoldo Gutierrez and Ramona Garza (both deceased), Celia’s life was one filled with love, devotion, and care for her family and friends.

For 55 years, Celia shared a loving and enduring partnership with her late husband, Crescencio Alanis. Together, they raised a family rooted in faith, respect, and warmth. Celia was the proud mother of five children: Maria Rodriguez (David), Jose Alanis (Susana), Ruy Alanis (Lucrecia), Nereida Alanis (Rene), and Juan Alanis (Susana). She cherished her role as a mother and was an integral part of her children's lives, guiding them with strength, compassion, and wisdom.

As a grandmother, Celia was the heart of her family. She leaves behind an abundance of loving memories with her grandchildren Brizel, Vando, Marcella, Tito, Ruy, Maricella, Bryanna, Julie, Ivan, Rene, Susana Alexa, Ymar, and Marianna. She also had the joy of being a great-grandmother to Izak, Izel, Haziel, Jazlyen, and Yvette, whom she adored deeply.

Celia’s home was a reflection of her caring spirit—a place filled with love, warmth, and order. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including playing Lotteria, staying connected with family and friends over the phone, and tending to her garden and plants, which flourished under her nurturing hands.

Celia lived by the saying, "No me voy a morir para que otros vivan," a testament to her selfless nature and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
