He was preceded in death by his wife Alicia Balderas; his parents Juan and Patrocinia Balderas; and by his siblings Sara Delgado, Roberto Balderas and Graciela Escamilla.
David is survived by his children Martha(Roy) Luna, David(Lydia) Francisco Balderas, Erasmo(Aracely) Balderas and Monica(Robert) Sanchez; his siblings Ramiro Balderas, Lidia Hernandez and Maria Anita Soliz; his grandchildren Jessica(Omar) Haro, Roy(Aurora) Luna Jr., David Francisco Balderas Jr., Jose Gutierrez, Alexis Balderas, Alejandro Balderas, Jaime(Janell) Andres Balderas, Lauren Sanchez, Sophia Sanchez and Robert Sanchez Jr.; and by his great-grandchildren Adan Balderas, Levi Luna, Emma Luna, Omar P. Haro, Augustin L. Haro, Juniper Alivia Balderas and Jaime Andres Balderas Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
Serving as pallbearers will be Erasmo Balderas, David Francisco Balderas, Robert Sanchez, Roy Luna, Roy Luna Jr., David Balderas Jr. and alternate pallbearer Jaime Balderas.
