He is preceded in death by his son John Jacob Garza.
He is survived by his children Erika Nicole Garza and Austin Garza; by his parents Placido and Ofelia Garza; and by his siblings Alicia Garza and Joel Jaime Garza.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Serenity in Mission from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
