He is preceded in death by his parents Severiano and Genoveva Torres and by his son Alfredo Torres.
Domingo is survived by his loving wife Dolores Torres; his children Antonio Torres, Domingo Torres Jr.(Blanca Estela), Guadalupe Ramos(Alberto), Armando Torres(Elda) and Eloy Torres(Lilian). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Welo enjoyed gardening and agriculture, he was known for his beautiful two acres on Buddy Owens filled with palm trees, grapefruits, avocados and many plants. Any time anyone was to enter his oasis they would see him with his cowboy hat walking up and down the land with a gardening tool. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones especially his grandchildren he would carry as he drove through his property on his John Deer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Serenity in Mission from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen at 1:30 pm. Entombment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
