Elisa Alvarado

She met her love Eliseo Alvarado in 1949 and were married. They moved to McAllen, TX in 1965 and resided there until the day of her death. Elisa Alvarado entered the gates of heaven on March 19, 2021 at the age of 87, at 3 pm. She was preceded in death by her husband Eliseo Alvarado on October 8, 2017.

She is survived by their children Camern Salas/Reynaldo Salas, Ignacio Alvarado/Cynthia Alvarado, Sylvia Rodriguez/Juan Rodriguez, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, as well as other loving family members. She was a dedicated homemaker, and a loving mother to all her children and grandchildren and will be missed tremendously.

The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm, March 22, 2021 with rosary starting at 7:00 pm at Del Angel Funeral Home 3611 N. Taylor Rd Mission, TX 78573. On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, there will be a short viewing from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM followed by mass from 10 AM – 11 AM with Deacon Rudy Sepulveda. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens 3611 N. Taylor Rd Mission, TX 78573.
